A Pennsylvania ophthalmologist has been arrested and charged after police found marijuana growing in his basement.

Police told ABC affiliate WPVI-TV they received a tip that Jahnle Eye Associates’ Dr. Paul Ezell, of Havertown, Pa., was growing and selling marijuana to patients and others.

Investigators seized 27 marijuana plants, $1,200 in cash, cell phones, heavy growing lamps, package-for-sale marijuana and plastic containers when a search warrant was executed on his home Wednesday morning, WPVI-TV reported.

Ezell was taken into custody and is scheduled for an arraignment Wednesday afternoon.
