Twin seven year olds helped fight off a carjacker in San Antonio on Thursday.
KSAT-TV reports Lucia Lozada watched helplessly as the thief drove away with her three children inside her car.
She told authorities she was on the way to church with her two seven-year-old boys and one-year-old baby when she ran back inside to grab a bottle.
When she went back outside, she saw her car being driven away.
Her twin boys, however, fought back.
“I was kicking him,” said Lucius, one of the twins.
His brother Luis added, “I was hitting him with a snake.”
The suspect eventually dropped the children off 10 miles from their home.
“They got a snake yesterday from the store. I didn't want to buy it for them, but I guess God knew that he was going to use it,” Lozada told reporters.
Fortunately, the mother says she recognizes the thief. He has yet to be taken into custody, but she said he often walks around the neighborhood.
He faces theft charges and possibly others connected to the children's abduction.
