Country singer Jason Aldean celebrated the success of his latest number one song at Nashville's Pour House Wednesday.

“When She Says Baby,” from Aldean's 2012 album “Night Train,” was written by Rhett Akins and Ben Hayslip.

The pair said Tom Petty's popular song “Here Comes My Girl” inspired their tune.

“I said, ‘Man we need to write a country version of a guy who's had a bad day at work or whatever and he comes home and his girl, all she has to do is say baby and all the bad things go away,'” Atkins said.

Akins and Hayslip, who grew up together, also wrote Blake Shelton's number one song from 2011, “Honeybee.”

Aldean is set to head out on tour next month. He is also expected to release a new album later this year.
