A Florida school board member has suggested a new dress code — for parents.
Dr. Rosalind Osgood, a member of the Broward County School Board, told the Sun Sentinel that she sees too many parents wearing saggy pants and pajamas when they drop off and pick up their kids.
“It's hard for me to tell a child not to show up for school with hair curlers, pajamas or short shorts if they see parents wearing them,” she said. “Parents need to lead by example.”
While Osgood admits that it would be hard to enforce the code, she says it would be a step in the right direction.
She told the newspaper that she plans to host a forum in the community about the issue.
We've posted a question about the issue on our Facebook page. Should school's enforce a dress code on parents when they come to the school?
