The Nashville Predators scored six times straight and finished the season with a 7-3, whipping the Wild in Minnesota Sunday night.

Craig Smith had a huge night for the Preds with two goals and two assists.  The outburst pushed Smith over 50 points for the first time in his career.

Calle Jarnkrok, Shea Weber, Ryan Ellis, Roman Josi and Rich Clune also scored for Nashville.

The Predators struggled to score the first 70 games of the season, but caught fire late, scoring 51 goals over the last 12 games.  In that stretch the Predators were a sizzling 9-1-2.

Nashville finishes the season with 88 points.

They are out of the playoffs for the second straight season.
