Enovate Medical announced Wednesday morning it is expanding its facility in Murfreesboro, creating more than 400 jobs over the next five years.
“Every time a significant player says we're going to not only manufacture here but we're going to put our headquarters here and we're going to do our RND it builds to our reputation,” said Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam who made the monumental announcement at the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce.
The facility, located at 1152 Park Avenue, is the company's U.S. headquarters.
The expansion in Rutherford County represents an investment of $13.1 million and stems from the consolidation of operations at Enovate Medical's facility in Canton, Michigan.
Enovate Medical designs space-saving, ergonomically correct and comfortable to use wall-mounted computer workstations, mobile computer workstations and medication transport storage systems.
The company plans to add 410 jobs over the next five years in Murfreesboro. The company will be hiring for manufacturing, maintenance, office and management positions.
