A 25-year-old man wanted for murder in Nashville was arrested at a casino hotel in California on an unrelated charge Monday night.
Police said Terrance Brown initially claimed to be someone else, though a fingerprint check revealed his true identity and that he was a wanted fugitive in Nashville.
Brown was wanted by Metro police for the 2012 shooting death of 26-year-old Dennis Prutianov.
Prutianov was killed after shots were fired into his south Nashville home.
Brown is also named in arrest warrants from October 2012 for aggravated robbery and aggravated assault.
His return to Nashville is pending.
