With the NFL draft just over a month away, Tennessee offensive tackle Antonio “Tiny” Richardson is hoping Wednesday's performance gets him back in the first round conversation.
Richardson was a projected first round pick before playing at what he called “65 percent” last season after knee surgery.
Richardson was one of the headliners at the Vols Pro Day in Knoxville. All the six foot, six, 335 pound Nashville native did was produce an impressive broad jump of nine feet, four inches and a 31 inch vertical.
Richardson was a two year starter at Tennessee and said, “I have faith I'm going to be a first rounder, I'll continue to say that until it doesn't happen and I believe it's going to happen. Either way it goes, I'm feeling good and I'm feeling healthy.”
The NFL draft starts May 8 in New York City.
