A second grade teacher at Wilson Elementary School in Murfreesboro was arrested at a local nail salon Saturday for public intoxication.

According to the arrest report, April Littlepage, 39, became irate while at Nails So Happy on Lascassas Pike after losing her cell phone.

Responding officers reported she was had glassy, bloodshot eyes, was unsteady on her feet and smelled of alcohol.

Littlepage was deemed a danger to the general public and taken into custody.

According to the report, while en route to jail, Littlepage was laughing one minute and crying the next. She also told the officer her attorney was going to kill him, the report stated.

Littlepage is listed as a second grade teacher on Wilson Elementary School's Web site.

She is scheduled to appear in a Rutherford County courtroom next month.
