Four residents are displaced after a fire damaged their triplex Thursday afternoon.

The fire was reported around 2:30 p.m. in the 100 block of South Billbro Avenue.

Authorities said it appears the house fire started outside and is possibly the result of a grass fire.

The triplex has a total of three units. Crews were able to contain the fire to one unit.

The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
