The annual Southern Women's Show kicked of Thursday at the Music City Center, bringing with it a wealth of exhibits and features.
The expo hosts hundreds of companies focusing on fashion, health, fitness, travel and leisure.
Stacy Abernathy, who puts on the Southern Women's Show in Nashville, told News 2 it is their 28th year in Nashville.
“Walgreens is doing a full Way to Wealth health tour and you can get over $100 of free health screenings. We've got fashion shows on the hour and cooking schools on each hour,” Abernathy said of some features.
Lisa Curl and five of her girlfriends took the day off to pamper themselves.
“Girls day! Kids are in school, we shop, we eat [and] we buy jewelry,” said Curl.
Abernathy said celebrity guests are set to make an appearance throughout the weekend, such as Patty Stanger from Bravo's hit TV show “Millionaire Matchmaker.”
The Southern Women's Show began Thursday at 10 a.m. and ends Sunday at 6 p.m.
Tickets are priced at $12 for adults and $6 for children at the door. Children under six years old may attend free.
