A visually impaired couple from England thanked their two guide dogs during their wedding Saturday for bringing them together.
Mark Gaffey met his new wife Claire Johnson while attending a guide-dog training conference two years ago, ABC News reported.
According to the newlyweds, their Labrador retrievers, Venice and Rodd, became inseparable and nuzzled together during the training.
After completing the training Gaffey and Johnson arranged play dates for their canines before they soon began meeting for dates themselves. The couple became engaged last year on Valentine's Day.
“I have no doubt that our guide dogs brought us together and helped me find my true love,” Johnson said,” Much like our two guide dogs, we really are best friends and soul mates.”
Venice and Rodd served as ring bearers at Gaffey and Johnson's wedding.
