The Smyrna firefighter arrested last year following an altercation outside a Murfreesboro bar will spend the next six months on probation.
Jerry Mosley appeared in a Rutherford County courtroom Thursday morning where he entered a plea of no contest to charges of resisting arrest and public intoxication.
Mosley was arrested outside Sam's Sports Grill on Old Fort Parkway last November after he mooned a crowd of people and officers told him to leave because he was too intoxicated.
The arrest was captured on cell phone video and shows Murfreesboro police officers using force to arrest Mosley who was cursing and yelling at them.
Mosley's lawyer Jack Lowery told News 2 Thursday his client just wants to put the incident behind him.
Mosley is still employed with the Smyrna Fire Department and if he follows the rules of his probation for the next six months his record will be expunged.
