A Knoxville man who had been bragging about winning the lottery on Facebook was robbed Wednesday morning.

Three suspects broke into the man's home around 4 a.m., ABC affiliate WATE-TV reported.

The man told the Knoxville Police Department he woke up to a huge crash, and a suspect entered his bedroom with a gun.

“Where the money at?” the suspect asked.

The victim had won money from scratch off lottery tickets and gloated on his Facebook page.

Two additional armed suspects came into the room, pointed their guns at him and began yelling about the money.

A suspect hit the victim on the head with a revolver and others stole cash from his pants, which were lying on the floor.

They continued to search the home for money before the victim escaped and ran to his neighbors for help.
