Man, 37, murdered outside Antioch home, Gunmen at large

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 37-year-old man was shot during a robbery attempt outside his Antioch home late Tuesday night.

Metro police said two masked and armed gunman approached Moises Zarate and his cousin as they were unloading their car outside Zarate’s Oakwood Forest Drive home around 9:30 p.m.

One of the suspects grabbed Zarate from behind, while the other threatened to shoot his cousin.

Zarate’s cousin ran for help when he heard a gunshot.

Zarate was struck and died at the scene.

The suspects fled on foot.

Both a witness and neighbor called police around 10:30 p.m. to report the incident.

The suspects are described as thin and around five feet, 11 inches tall. One suspect had long black hair.

They could be driving a small silver car.

The investigation is ongoing.
