The basketball season continues for the Tennessee Volunteers who were selected as one of the final four teams for the NCAA tournament.

Tennessee faces Iowa in the first round of the tournament on Wednesday at 8:10 p.m. in Dayton, Ohio.  The two teams are vying for the No. 11 seed in the Midwest Region.
The winner of Wednesday's game will face No. 6 seed UMass Friday in Raleigh, N.C.

The Volunteers finished the regular season with a 21-12 record over all and 11-7 in the SEC. This is Tennessee's 20th NCAA Tournament appearance but the first since 2011.

Tennessee has won five of its last six games holding its last four opponents to an average of just 47.4 points per game.

The Volunteers and Hawkeyes have not faced each other since Dec. 29, 2000 when Tennessee nabbed a 80-68 win in Honolulu, Hawaii.
