A woman at a hospital in India gave birth this week to what seemed to be a girl with two heads.
Dr. Ashish Sehgal, the CEO of Cygnus JK Hindu Hospital, told ABC News the conjoined twins are healthy and alive although doctors do not expect them to survive.
The twins each have a head but share one body and all their vital organs, so separation is not possible.
The birth occurred Wednesday morning by Caesarean section.
The mother reportedly had no idea she was carrying twins because she could not afford an ultrasound.
Sehgal told ABC News the twins weighed 5.3 pounds.
