An early power play goal was the only offense of the night for the Sabres as Nashville nabbed the 4-1 win on the road Tuesday night.

Drew Stafford scored 2:09 into the game with the Predators down a man following a Matt Cullen holding penalty. The rest of the contest belonged to the Predators' offense.

Nashville tied the game at 17:10 in the first period when a Shea Weber shot deflected off the skate of Nick Spaling and past Jhonas Enroth.

Weber then scored his 16th goal of the season in the second period to give Nashville the 2-1 lead. Craig Smith followed with his 20th of the season; a slap shot through the legs of Enroth for the 3-1 lead.

Former Sabre Paul Gaustad scored an empty-net goal with 1:31 in the game to seal the 4-1 victory for Nashville.

Carter Hutton made 23 saves for the Predators who won their second game in as many nights. They continue their road trip Friday night in Chicago.
