The Belmont Bruins came into Friday night's game with Morehead State with more than just a trip to the OVC tournament finals on the line.
After three straight NCAA tournament appearances, they have to win the conference tournament this weekend to make it four.
It was a tight game in the first half with the Bruins J.J. Mann scoring ten points to take them into halftime with a 35-25 lead.
In the second half, it was over before the Eagles knew what hit them, using a three point flurry, 11-23 from three point range, the Bruins locked down on defense leading by as many as 31 points en route to a blowout win over Morehead State 86-63.
They are now one win away from a return trip to the NCAA tournament facing off against the winner of Murray State and Eastern Kentucky Saturday at 6 p.m.
