According to reports, Nashville Predators' goaltender Pekka Rinne's rehab assignment in Milwaukee is over.
Rinne is expected to be back in Nashville Sunday night.
Rinne started two games for the Admirals and won both contests. He stopped 33 of 35 shots on goal with a 0.99 GAA, and a 0.943 SV%.
The two AHL games were the first games for Rinne since undergoing surgery for an infected hip in October.
Following Sunday's win, Rinne told Milwaukee reporters that he felt ready to go for NHL action.
The Predators face the Pittsburgh Penguins Tuesday night. The team as not yet confirmed that Rinne has been recalled to Nashville.
