The Outback Steakhouse on West End served its last customer on Sunday.
The sign has already been taken down from the restaurant located just off Interstate 440 in west Nashville.
News 2 reached out to Outback’'s parent company, Bloomin’ Brands, to find out why the outback shutdown.
Their spokesperson said that it was strictly a business decision and had no reflection on the employees.
Affected employees are getting the chance to transfer to other Outback locations in the Nashville area. If employees choose not to transfer, they will get a severance pay.
The Outback locations in Madison, Brentwood and Hermitage will remain open.
