Only two players hit double figures, but the Vanderbilt women found a way winning at Arkansas 56-50 Thursday evening.
Morgan Batey led the Commodores with a career high 18 points and Christina Foggie added 11.
The Dores trailed by one at the half, but never trailed by more than four in what was a very low scoring game.
Vanderbilt has a history of hitting and taking a lot of three-point field goals, but the Dores hit only 2 of 4 shots from beyond the arc against Arkansas.
With the win Vandy improves to 18-8 overall and 7-6 in the SEC.
