A man was arrested Thursday, accused of stalking a woman who he also threatened to harm on two different occasions, according to police.
Police reported Julian Ortiz, 43, was a frequent visitor at the victim's apartment complex located on Brittney Park Circle in Antioch because a friend of his lived there.
The victim reported the first incident occurred in late December when Ortiz demanded the victim let him inside.
Once inside, Ortiz allegedly pulled a gun on the victim when she answered a phone call and spoke in a language he did not understand. He is accused of threatening to kill her if she did not hang up.
The victim told Ortiz her mother was on the way home and he fled. She stated she did not report the incident because he threatened to kill her if she did.
The second incident occurred on Tuesday when Ortiz reportedly forced the victim into his car, slapped her, and threatened to crash into parked cars for over 20 minutes while driving in circles.
The victim was eventually able to get away and go to police.
Ortiz was finally arrested Thursday and charged with especially aggravated stalking, false imprisonment, aggravated assault, assault with fear of bodily injury.
He is being held in the Metro jail on $100,000 bond.
