A Greenbrier man was arrested last month after he was found drunk, according to police, and hiding in the ceiling of a women's bathroom.
Officers were called to auto parts supplier Unipres USA on Kirby Drive in Portland on January 30 after an employee spotted Dustin Groves in the ceiling.
According to the affidavit, Groves, 24, had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and smelled strongly of alcohol.
He told responding officers he got drunk during his lunch break. Afterward, he said he saw someone in the ceiling so he went up to investigate.
Due to his intoxicated state, Groves was arrested. As he was being escorted out of the building, he kicked a glass door causing it to shatter.
Groves was charged with public intoxication and booked into the Sumner County jail.
He has a March 14 court date.
