Lady Vols rally to beat Alabama for 40th consecutive time

The Lady Vols trailed Alabama 26-18 at halftime but rallied in the second half to defeat the Crimson Tide 64-54 Sunday afternoon.

The victory marked Tennessee's 40th consecutive win over Alabama.

Junioro Cierra Burdick led the comeback and finished with a career high 21 points.

Her 11 rebounds resulted in her third double-double of the season. Isabelle Harrison notched her 11th double-double of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Tennessee outscored the Tide 46-28 in the second half including a 19-2 the break the game open with five minutes left in the contest.

With the win, Tennessee moves to 18-4 overall and 7-2 in the SEC.  The Lady Vols return to action Thursday at Ole Miss.
