Nashville Predators' player Mike Fisher has become the first NHL player to be featured in an “I Am Second” short film.
During the seven minute film, Fisher describes his struggle with his professional and personal life and balancing it all with his faith.
“I make it to the NHL making a great salary. I made it. I had my childhood dream and everything was great on the exterior, but the interior [was] not good at all,” he said.
The “I Am Second” campaign initially launched in 2008 and features stories of transformation and hope stories.
Fisher married country-singer and former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood in 2010.
He has played with the Predators for three years.
