Maury County deputies made a substantial drug bust while serving a warrant Tuesday.

According to Maury County Patrol Sgt. Sam Barnes, he and two other deputies went to a popular auto detail shop on Woodland Street around 11 a.m.

As the deputies approached the business, several people came out of a car, including Robert Armstrong, to whom the deputies were attempting to serve a warrant.

Sgt. Barnes told Nashville's News 2 Investigates there was an overwhelming smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Deputies confiscated nearly a half-pound of marijuana inside the car and quickly determined Armstrong was in possession of crack and more pot.

Brandon Lewis, the owner of the auto detail shop, was arrested for possession of pot.  He also had $1,000 in possession at the time.

Courtney Shyes was also arrested after deputies discovered he was in possession of more than $8,000 and marijuana.

In total, police seized three vehicles, thousands of dollars, three pounds of marijuana and two grams of crack during the bust.
