The surviving snakes seized from an east Tennessee preacher who appeared on national television demonstrating use of snake handling have been euthanized.
Officials concluded the 14 remaining snakes once in the possession of Pastor Andrew Hamblin were in too poor of a condition to save.
In November, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency confiscated over 50 snakes from Hamblin.
They were transported to the Knoxville zoo where officials say 39 died from multiple parasites and pathogens.
The remaining 14 snakes were believed to be infected as well.
