Members of a Nashville rap group are behind bars in Cheatham County Friday.
Police arrested three adults and two juveniles in connection to a violent home invasion that occurred in Joelton on Monday.
Investigators say masked members of the group, Hollow Tip Gang, broke into a home filled with musical equipment.
During the break-in the homeowner was stuck in the head with a pipe before the five suspects fled with speakers, microphone stands, monitors and a lap top computer.
The group, according to police, was scheduled to perform at The Rutledge in Nashville on Sunday.
“You know they do have some talent, unfortunately for them, they used this talent to get them into trouble,” Lt. Shannon Heflin said.
The stolen musical equipment and electronic devices has since been recovered at a home near Hunter's Lane.
The adults involved in the crime remain behind bars. The juveniles have since been released to the custody of their parents.
