Former Titans offensive tackle Todd Williams passed away unexpectedly at his Florida home Monday at the age of 35.
Williams, a seventh-round draft pick by the Titans in 2003, had been suffering from stomach pain and reportedly could not taste anything over the last month.
Williams' mother advised her son to go to the hospital on Friday for treatment.
When she did not hear from him over the weekend, she went to check on him at his residence where he was found deceased.
Williams played in seven games as a reserve right tackle for the Tennessee Titans before being waived in 2005.
During his time with the Titans, Williams said he prayed before each game because he was thankful of the obstacles he had overcome in his lifetime including living on the streets.
Williams most recently taught at Manatee Y Technological High School in Florida.
