Two juveniles were arrested in connection to a series of brush fires discovered on Christmas Day in Murfreesboro.
The Murfreesboro Post reported the juvenile girls have been charged with reckless burning and accused of setting the fires near the Apartments at Harpers Pointe in the area of Agri Park Drive on December 25.
Several brush fires were set on a property adjacent to the apartments, as well as a nearby hay bale and abandoned barn.
The juveniles appeared in court this week and have since been released to the custody of their parents.
Their identities will not be released since they are under age.
Officials with the fire department stated more information regarding the case will be released as it becomes available.
