Authorities arrested a Winchester couple last week after they brought a five-month-old child to what they thought was a drug deal.
Undercover officers with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office arrested Terry Tarrant and Sue Rodriguez in the parking lot of Southern Tennessee Medical Center around 6 p.m. last Friday.
The pair believed they were going to a narcotics transaction, according to sheriff's office investigators. The infant was in the car with them.
Tarrant and Rodriguez were each charged with possession of crack cocaine and aggravated child endangerment.
They were booked into the Franklin County jail on $25,000 bond.
