South Carolina beats Wisconsin 34-24 in Capital One Bowl

Connor Shaw's last game at South Carolina was one of his very best. The Gamecocks quarterback was the Capital One Bowl MVP as the Gamecocks held off Wisconsin 34-24 in Orlando Wednesday.

Shaw had five touchdowns in the game and scored them three different ways throwing three TD passes, running one in and even catching a touchdown pass.

He only missed on three passes in the entire game going 22 of 25 for 312 yards. Shaw's favorite target was Bruce Ellington who caught six passes for 140 yards and a score.

South Carolina won its third straight bowl game for its third straight 11-win season.

Wisconsin finishes 9-4 and got 100 yard games from both Melvin Gordon and James White in the loss.
