For the second straight game, the Predators found themselves in a 3-0 hole after one period of play.

The Boston Bruins scored their first two goals on just four shots Monday against Nashville net-minder Carter Hutton. Hutton was pulled following the second goal.

The Predators seemed to find their footing in the second period on a power-play goal by Craig Smith. A second Smith goal came in the third period to pull the Predators within one.

That, however, was short lived. A pair of Predator penalties gave Boston the two man advantage and Jerome Iginla scored his second goal of the night to put Boston up 4-2. Just 49 seconds later, a Carl Soderburg score increased Boston's lead to three.

A final third period goal off the stick of Brad Marchand sealed the 6-2 victory for Boston.

The Predators have lost their last four straight games. The team returns to action Friday night against the Stars.
