The Stanley Cup champions looked the part Tuesday night in Nashville beating the Predators 3-1 at Bridgestone Arena.
Chicago jumped on the Predators and goalie Carter Hutton quickly scoring just a minute and a half into the game when All-Star defenseman Duncan Keith whipped a slap shot past Hutton for a 1-0 lead.
The Predators tied it in the first period when Shea Weber scored his eighth goal of the season on the power play. The Preds were seven and oh when Weber scored prior to Tuesday night.
Patrick Kane turned in a highlight reel goal for a 2-1 Chicago lead. It was Kane's 20th goal of the season.
The loss ends a three game win streak for Nashville. The Predators are at Tampa Bay Thursday night.
