A worker for the Department of Children's Services was arrested for driving under the influence early Friday morning in Murfreesboro.
Mallory Garner was traveling southbound on South Church Street around 2:30 a.m. when an officer witnessed her run a red light.
Upon initiating a traffic stop, the arresting officer reported the 26-year-old had glassy eyes and smelled of alcohol.
Garner admitted to drinking and was taken into police custody after she performed poorly on a field sobriety test.
She is charged with DUI.
