Popular game show Wheel of Fortune took to their official Twitter account to apologize for a puzzle relating to actor Paul Walker just two days after his tragic death.
The movie, “The Fast and the Furious,” which Walker starred in, was the correct answer to a puzzle featured on the game show on Monday.
After many fans voiced their opinions on the poor timing of the puzzle, the highly popular television show tweeted, Monday's episode was pre-taped and it was “an unfortunate coincidence” it aired days after Walker's passing.
Host Pat Sajak also tweeted that he “feels terrible about the timing of ‘Fast & Furious' puzzle.” He also added the show was taped several weeks in advance and was sent out to 200 local television stations days earlier.
Walker died in a fiery single-car crash in California Saturday afternoon. He leaves behind a 15-year-old daughter.
Walker was working on Fast & Furious 7, which is scheduled to be released in July, prior to his death.
