WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Authorities are investigating after a body was found Wednesday morning in Wilson County.
The discovery was made in the Cumberland River near the Shutes Branch Recreation Area off Saundersville Road.
The unidentified man’s cause of death was likely suicide, officials told News 2.
According to reports, the man called 911 around 10:45 a.m. prior to taking his life.
Divers also recovered a gun from the river.
No additional information was immediately released.
