MTSU basketball extends nation’s longest home win streak

Shawn Jones led the Blue Raiders with 24 points and 12 rebounds while Kerry Hammonds and Jaqawn James each had 17 points as the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders beat Akron 80-73 at the Murphy Center.

The Blue Raiders have now won a national best 31 straight games at home and are 3-0 this season.

MTSU goes for 32 straight wins at the Murphy Center Monday against Arkansas Little-Rock.
