Police are investigating after a 69-year-old Clarksville woman was robbed twice in less than two weeks.
The first incident involving the elderly victim occurred on October 28 just before 10 p.m. as she and a friend were returning to her home on Goodlett Drive.
The victim reported the suspect, described as a black male wearing a bandanna, pushed her to the ground as she was walking to her home's front door.
The suspect demanded money and fled after taking more than $500 from both of the women.
Early last Friday morning, the Clarksville woman reported two black men kicked in her home's door while she was sleeping.
She said they held her at gunpoint as they went through her home and demanded cash. The victim said she gave the men $200 before they asked about the friend who was with the victim during the previous robbery.
The men fled the scene.
On both occasions, the woman said she had visited a lotto store in Oak Grove, Kentucky before each crime.
A detailed suspect description was not immediately known.
