Tennessee rolls in final exhibition game 78-47

The Volunteers used superior size to dominate Division II Southern Indiana inside Thursday night in Knoxville 78-47 in their last exhibition game of the season.

The Vols won the battle of the backboards 56-37 with four players pulling down seven rebounds including star center Jarnell Stokes.

Stokes was one three Tennessee players to score in double figures, he had 11 points. Josh Richardson had 12 for the Vols and Jordan McRae had 15.

The Vols blew out the Screaming Eagles despite shooting just 36 percent from the field and they were even worse from the 3-point line going just 3 for 21.

Tennessee opens the regular season next Tuesday at Xavier.
