Predators send Filip Forsberg down to minors

After scoring only one goal in 15 games, Filip Forsberg is headed to the Nashville Predators minor league affiliate in Milwaukee.

The talented youngster was reassigned to the Admirals Thursday after notching only five points this season, one of them came last night when he had an assist in the Predators 6-4 win in Colorado.

Forsberg was the 10th pick of the NHL Draft in 2012 by the Washington Capitals and was traded to Nashville at the end of last season for Martin Erat.

Forward Taylor Beck replaces Forsberg on the Preds' roster. Beck had three goals and two assists in only eight games with the Admirals this season.

Beck got his first NHL action last season when he had three goals and four assists for the Predators in 16 games last season when the team was plagued by injuries.
