Metro police arrested a convicted murderer for an aggravated armed robbery that occurred last week.
Timothy Crowell entered the Public Storage located at Welshwood Drive around Noon last Saturday and demanded cash at gunpoint.
The employee complied with Crowell's request before the 42-year-old man fled the scene in a white car.
Authorities are working to determine if Crowell is involved in a second armed robbery that occurred on October 11.
He is being held in lieu of a $75,000 bond.
In 1989, Crowell was convicted of second degree murder and armed robbery.
