Michael Wacha pitched six innings giving up just two runs and the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Red Sox 4-2 in Boston in game 2 of the World Series.
The Cardinals win ties the series up at 1-1 as they head to St. Louis for games three and four.
Thanks to David Ortiz second homer of the series the Red Sox took a 2-1 lead into the seventh inning, but it did not hold. A big Boston error keyed a three-run St. Louis rally that led to the win.
Carlos Beltran played thru a rib injury to lead the Cards with two hits and a run batted in.
John Lackey took the loss giving up three runs in 6 1/3 innings.
