As expected, redshirt freshman Patton Robinette will start as quarterback for Vanderbilt Saturday at Texas A&M.

Senior Austyn Carta-Samuels will miss his first game of the season with a knee injury.

Carta-Samuels was injured in the Georgia game last week and was unable to finish. In seven games this season Carta-Samuels threw for over 1,651 yards and combined for 15 touchdowns through the air and on the ground.

Robinette came off the bench against the Bulldogs and was nine of 15 for 41 yards as the Dores rallied to win.

He's going head to head with last year's Heisman Trophy winner in his first collegiate start.

Johnny Manziel will start for the Aggies despite having his arm in a sling on Monday.
