An investigation into a north Nashville market led to a raid of the business Tuesday afternoon and a seizure of all non-perishable items inside.
Metro police first began investigating CJ Discount Market located on Buena Vista Pike in May.
Authorities said staff purchased nearly 200 cigarette cartons and some motor oil from an undercover police officer who represented the items as stolen.
The operative was paid half of what the products were worth.
One of the market's operators, identified as 24-year-old Hani Alkaifi, is charged with three counts of theft.
At least one other employee may also face charges.
