Rookie defenseman Seth Jones' late third period goal was the deciding factor in Nashville's 2-1 win over Montreal Saturday night.

With the win, the Predators improve to 4-3-1 on the season.
Nashville scored first on a power play goal from Captain Shea Weber at 12:31 in the first period.

Predator netminder Pekka Rinne allow the lone Montreal goal seven minutes into the second period from Brendan Gallagher. Rinne finished the night with 28 saves.
A pass from David Legwand and a deke past Montreal's Josh Gorges allowed Jones to ruin Carey Price's impressive 35-save night and give Nashville the two points.
The Predators continue their road trip against the Winnipeg Jets Sunday night.
