NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – A speedy settlement by some companies with the truck-stop chain owned by Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam won't put an end to the case.

Pilot Flying J's attorney says around 50 of Pilot's 6,000-plus customers have opted out of the settlement. Some are pursuing their own lawsuits, saying they will seek an award for damages.

A number of trucking companies and drivers sued Pilot after an April 15 raid revealed the company had systematically cheated customers out of discounts and rebates.

The nation's largest diesel retailer reached a class-action settlement with some customers just three months later. It promises to repay any money owed with interest.

Tuesday is the deadline to opt out of the settlement. Customers who don't opt out are automatically included.'
