Metro police are investigating following a shooting in south Nashville early Sunday morning.
The shooting was reported around 4 a.m. in a parking lot in front of the “I” building in the 1000 block of Patricia Drive.
A 24-year-old was shot in the stomach and was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was last listed in critical condition.
Police said two male suspects were driving a red or maroon SUV.
The motive for the shooting was not immediately known. No further details were immediately released.
The investigation is ongoing.
