The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested two cousins overnight after the pair allegedly planned to have one of their wives shot to death.
Pratakkumer Patel and Kalpesh Patel are both charged with one count of conspiracy to commit first degree murder.
Authorities learned on Monday the men had solicited and paid a potential hit man $15,000 to shoot Pratakkumer Patel's wife Tuesday morning.
The pair provided the hired hit man with an address, vehicle description and photograph of the intended victim.
Pratakkumer Patel, 31, has since posted a $100,000 bond
Forty-four-year-old Kalpesh Patel was currently out of jail on an identity theft charge at the time of his arrest Monday night.
He has since been released on a $130,000.
Both men remain in custody by immigration.
